Compliance

At Almost Heavy Trucking LLC, our goal is to stay compliant with the regulations set forth by governing bodies like the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). To achieve this, we focus on:
Adhering to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations as mandated by the FMCSA to ensure driver rest and safety.
1
2
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vehicle maintenance records in line with DOT requirements.
3
Ensuring all drivers possess the necessary and current licenses and certifications as required by the FMCSA.
4
Complying with environmental regulations and emissions standards enforced by the DOT.
Payroll
The Almost Heavy Trucking payroll system “Load Track” ensures timely and accurate compensation for all operators.
Here’s how the process works:
Pay Period Timing:
The pay period runs from Friday through the following Thursday. All work performed within this timeframe will be processed for payment.
Form Submission:
To ensure your payment is processed, submit a form for each load completed during the pay period by Thursday at 9 a.m. This form verifies the details needed for accurate payment.
Submission Deadline:
Forms submitted after the Thursday 9 a.m. deadline will not be reviewed for the current pay period. Late submissions will be processed in the next pay period, potentially delaying your payment.
Direct Deposit:
Direct deposits are made available in your bank account on the Friday following the end of the pay period. If your pay period ends on a Thursday, you will see the direct deposit in your account on the following Friday.
Discrepancies
If you notice any discrepancies in your pay, complete a "lost wages" form on the website to address and resolve issues related to incorrect payments.
Following these steps ensures accurate and timely payment while addressing any potential issues efficiently.
